It is always a pleasure to work with a returning client on a new project. Having completed a significant renovation on their Auckland family home a few years prior, our clients were now embarking on the build of their new beach home in the beautiful Whangamata.
Designed by the talented Brendon Gordon, the clients brief was for a relaxed, functional, family friendly abode that could stretch to cater for guests and welcome visitors regardless of the season. The design maximizes views across the reserve to the beach whilst allowing an abundance of natural light throughout the building. Utilising timeless natural materials and a warm palette as the base layers, furnishing was chosen to add texture and create the beach vibe our clients desired.
