At Trinity we always have an exciting project in design. Here you’ll find a collection of some of those we are currently working on. Be part of the journey by following us on Instagram to see their progress unfold.
In Progress
WAIHEKE ISLAND
Our US-based clients recently acquired a stunning waterfront property featuring an existing modern home originally conceived as a lodge. With a shift in brief toward a more private, family-focused residence, our role has been to reimagine key areas of the home, while elevating the overall interior through a review of space and layout, a comprehensive update of finishes, fittings, and furnishings.
Engaged via referral, we have worked closely with our clients to establish and coordinate the wider project team, managing the design and delivery process while they remain largely offshore. This approach ensures clarity, continuity, and confidence at every stage.
Completion is scheduled for March 2027
BRISBANE
It is always a privilege to be invited to work with returning clients.
For this waterfront home currently under construction in Brisbane, we have reconnected with our Australian-based clients following our previous collaboration on their Closeburn Estate residence on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown. That project established a strong working relationship, allowing us to deeply understand how they live and what they value within their home.
Engaged once again, our role is to curate the feature lighting and furnish the interiors of this new residence. Building on the success of the custom pieces designed for Closeburn, we are exploring a further collection of bespoke furniture, complemented by carefully sourced pieces from leading Australian manufacturers.
Completion is scheduled for late 2026.
ST HELIERS
Tucked away at the end of a long, tree-lined driveway, this gracious two-level bungalow sits within a mature, recently landscaped setting, complete with a tennis court, pool, and pool house.
With the exterior works complete, the focus has shifted to a comprehensive reimagining of the interiors – aligning the home with the evolving needs of our clients as they entertain adult children, their partners, and extended family.
Having lived in the home for many years, our clients brought a deep understanding of how the spaces function, while remaining open to a fresh perspective. This allowed us to reassess the layout, unlock underutilised areas, and develop a more considered and cohesive floor plan.
Working closely with the architect and builder, the new design direction is set to transform both the flow and experience of the home, creating a series of spaces that feel connected, purposeful, and enduring.
Currently under construction, with completion scheduled for late 2026.
QUEENSTOWN
Located on the Crown Range between Queenstown and Wanaka, this single-level residence has been conceived as a private guest retreat, positioned to capture the ever-changing landscape and expansive views across Lake Wakatipu.
With the architectural interior selections established, Trinity has been engaged to curate a layered and refined interior experience – one that responds to its surroundings while offering a sense of quiet luxury and retreat.
A considered mix of pieces sourced from leading furniture houses, alongside bespoke designs created specifically for the home, will bring depth and individuality to each space. The result is an environment that feels both resolved and relaxed, encouraging guests to unwind and fully engage with the setting.
Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed – from furniture and lighting through to curated artwork and tableware – ensuring each stay feels seamless, comfortable, and distinctly memorable.
Completion is scheduled for late 2026.
MILFORD
Located beachfront in Milford, Auckland, this commanding architecturally designed residence is scheduled to commence construction in mid-2026.
Conceived first and foremost as a family home for our clients, our brief is to elevate the interiors to meet their expectations for contemporary coastal living, while also ensuring the home’s long-term value is fully realised for its future custodians.
This dual focus is central to our approach — creating spaces that are deeply personal and highly liveable today, while also delivering enduring design outcomes that set the property apart within its context.
Working with a developer who understands the relationship between considered design and long-term return, there is a shared appreciation for the value that well-resolved interiors bring to a home of this calibre.
We look forward to seeing this exceptional residence come to life.
MANLY
This large renovation project will create a stunning one level family home situated on a large flat site in short walking distance to the beach. After living in the existing house for several years our clients have a clear vision of what was needed and how they wanted to live to accommodate their teenage children.
The Nick Rowe design ticks all of their boxes both visually and functionally. Our clients want to ensure they are making the right decisions as they move through this process both with the interior design and selection of finishes through to furnishing.
Mount Maunganui
Situated in a prime location, this two level, beachfront property has been designed to reflect our clients fun and vibrant personalities, alongside their passion for travel and love of entertaining. An exterior of natural stone and cedar cladding wraps around a Mediterranean inspired central pool courtyard. With an aligning aesthetic, the interior is to include some glamour and wow moments, with layered, textured and rich in colour furnishings.
OMAHA
Working with Julian Guthrie on a home he designed 20 years ago, we are looking to re imagine this large beachfront house, tweaking the floorplan slightly and overhauling the interior throughout. This house has catered for our clients’ immediate family and will now cater for the next generation coming through. Although the architectural design of the house has stood the test of time, the new interior will create a very different look and feel for our clients.
Completion due end of 2026.
Parnell
This is a beautiful contemporary home with a nod to Japanese influence, and cleverly designed to welcome an abundance of light that filters through to every room. Sitting perched on the cliff looking across Hobson Bay and out to Rangitoto beyond, the views are breath taking.
MATAKANA
We are once again collaborating with Ze Build to deliver a refined extension and considered redesign of an existing single-level residence on a picturesque lifestyle block. The design thoughtfully enhances the home’s connection to its setting, creating spaces that balance contemporary living with relaxed rural charm.
Beyond the architecture, the project includes a comprehensive landscaping plan featuring a pool and a croquet pitch — designed for effortless entertaining and summer enjoyment.
Our clients bring a vibrant sense of individuality to the project, and this has inspired a highly personalised design outcome that celebrates both their lifestyle and the site’s unique character.
Completion June 2026.
PARATAI DRIVE
We are privileged to be working with new clients who came to us through a referral from the owners of the Takapuna House, completed last year. This 1,200sqm family residence, set across three levels, is designed to take full advantage of the sweeping views over the Hauraki Gulf.
The home is thoughtfully arranged around a sheltered central courtyard, where the pool forms the heart of family life and entertaining. Every aspect of the design is guided by the outlook — a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, expressed through refined detailing and natural materiality.
The clients have provided a clear and confident brief, entrusting us with full creative direction to curate the finishes, furnishings, and final design decisions throughout. The result will embody understated elegance, crafted for both beauty and ease of living.
Completion December 2026.
