Our clients approached us after engaging Mason & Wales Architects to design their new home on an elevated site in Haumoana. A coastal settlement just south of the Tukituki River mouth in Hawke’s Bay. The beautiful site offers expansive rural and coastal views, together with a building platform ideally suited to single-level living.
Originally conceived as a holiday home, with the intention of becoming the family’s permanent residence in the future, the interior brief centered on creating a home that felt warm, comfortable, and inviting. A place designed for relaxation and easy living through the thoughtful use of texture and a carefully curated palette.
Based in Wellington, our clients entrusted us with managing the project remotely. We coordinated closely with the wider design and build team from concept through to completion for a seamless process.
Trinity’s role encompassed a full scope of interior design services, including plan review, finishes and fittings selection, cabinetry design, lighting design, furniture selection, procurement, and logistics management.
